“Defeat Cancer” Now Published

An interesting book just came out. Defeat Cancer (also available on Amazon) is a compilation of 15 informal interviews with integrative and naturopathic physicians who treat cancer. You can read a free sample chapter out of the book here.

If you are reading this present article that means you probably already “get it”. By “get it”, I mean you probably already understand that there is a day and night difference between integrative practitioners and mainstream practitioners. Patients that get integrative treatment for chronic diseases tend to get well. Patients that get allopathic treatment for chronic diseases…don’t. It is that simple really. And it turns out to be no different with cancer.

The results with mainstream treatments such as chemotherapy are horrific. Oncologists may be “nice people”, but in general, they don’t have a clue what they are doing when it comes to treating cancer. If they did, their results would not be so unacceptable. In my own observation and estimation, if a person gets treatment from an experienced integrative practitioner while an operable cancer is still in its early stages and BEFORE any chemotherapy or radiation has damaged the body, then there is somewhere between a 90% and a 100% chance of achieving indefinite remission. Oncologists can’t even dream of this. Many assume that such results are fraudulent, don’t want to hear about the evidence, and then stick their heads in the sand. They sometimes even have the nerve to say that such “unproven” treatments are dangerous and warn people to stay away from them instead of truthfully saying “I don’t know about those treatments”. I don’t mean to beat up on oncologists, but these are unpleasant truths we cannot afford to dance around or be “politically correct” about any longer. Hundreds of thousands of Americans are unnecessarily dying each year because of the current ignorant system of “medicine”.

People need to know what to do about cancer BEFORE getting it. Once you get it, there is a huge chance you will be pressured by doctors and even family to get harmful and ineffective treatments. People need to make up their minds to go the integrative route in advance so that they can withstand the societal pressure to the contrary. Defeat Cancer is one nice book that introduces you to real doctors, real patients, and some real results. It can help remove the notion in your mind that society will try to impose on you that there is no other way but “poison” (chemotherapy), “slash” (surgery), and “burn” (radiation). It may help you get an idea about how to dialogue better with family and physicians when the dreaded cancer diagnosis comes along. Some integrative practitioners are certainly better than others, and this book will help you learn how to probe practitioners and see if they are right for you.

If you get cancer, I suggest calling around and asking questions to the staff of any nearby integrative clinics to see if they treat cancer, and if their approach suits you. Some places to search by ZIP code for local practitioners that may treat cancer with integrative means are:

IPTForCancer.Com
(A listing a practitioners that utilize Insulin Potentiation Therapy – a vastly superior and safe form of chemotherapy. Doctors that know this therapy almost certainly know about many others.)

Naturopathic.org
(American Association of Naturopathic Physicians – a listing of ND’s)

ACAM.org
(American College for Advancement in Medicine – a listing of integrative MD’s)

Oncamp.org
(Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians – a listing of ND’s that focus on cancer)

The author of Defeat Cancer, Connie Strasheim, has written several other books and maintains a website called LymeBytes. Like myself, she is also a chronic Lyme disease survivor.

There are other good books on cancer out there, but I am going to publish one in the coming years that fills a significant void. Namely, one that will show people how to get the best results that they can on their own, and have it be backed it up with real science. Yes, that is sort of taboo, because no one wants to encourage people to “do it themselves” (so such a book is for “informational purposes only”), but we have to face the fact if people start “waking up” to the insanity of the current system in large numbers, there simply are not enough integrative practitioners to help them all. There are many self-help books out there, but sadly, those treatments are rarely as effective as enthusiasts claim. Many such treatments need to be used synergystically to have the best chance of beating cancer.
