MMS Banned in the USA?
Yesterday the FDA issued a safety alert warning about the health risks of taking Miracle Mineral Supplement. MMS is supposedly already banned from being sold in Canada and Australia. Perhaps this could soon happen in the US?
Jim Humble’s book has a number of scanned letters on various letterheads from various organizations in Africa documenting the improvement or cure of thousands of people with malaria. They are either fraudulent or prove that MMS really works.
I know several people who have had clear herxheimer reactions from taking MMS and subsequently improved health. Sometimes it is hard to tell if something is a herx reaction or if it is just side effects from “drinking bleach”. However, sometimes it is extremely self evident to an individual when something is a herx and not due to side effects. I myself have also had an unmistakable herx reaction with regard to a candida infection while taking MMS in the past.
I for one will say that I am sure that it kills bugs. But it is certainly not the cure-all for every disease to the extent that some people claim. There are so many priceless natural therapies out there, and I would not say any of them “takes the cake”. I know of people for whom MMS is positively not working for certain chronic infections.
Jim Humble is old and certainly not dumb enough to think he is going to get rich off of MMS and enjoy the big life. I cannot believe he is anything but sincere. That does not mean he is infallible though.
MMS certainly works to some degree. However, just because it works (to some degree or another) does not mean it is totally safe. I don’t really know enough to say how safe it is long term. Though I personally would not be afraid to take it for a 1 or 2 month test drive. And FYI, MMS can be taken inside capsules or transdermally to reduce side effects. I myself took massive doses of transdermal MMS (hundreds of drops a day) for about a week and didn’t feel a thing.
I honestly don’t understand how MMS really works. It seems it is a form of oxidation therapy.
In my post on MMS2, a commenter claims to be a foreign doctor and says that he has seen thousands of malaria and AIDS/HIV patients improve and some get cured. I swapped some emails with him, and in my own estimation, I tend to believe him.
If MMS gets banned from sales, Humble’s book does have instructions for making it at home. That may be another outlet for people interested. MMS2 can also be made from home, and I have given information on doing this in my article.
I do not endorse or discourage either product. I also would not be heart broken if they both disappeared on account of the fact that I know what else to try for various diseases should I need something. Poor countries however, may be much more interested in MMS1 and MMS2 than the US.
Update 8/17/2010:
A published study on ingesting chlorine dioxide (i.e. MMS) concluded:
“…by the absence of detrimental physiological responses within the limits of the study, the relative safety of oral ingestion of chlorine dioxide and its metabolites, chlorite and chlorate, was demonstrated.”
MMS doses probably don’t compare to this study however.

I have cured my son in 2 days because he had ear infection, but doctors would give you only nasty antibiotics.. if people think mms is not safe, what do they think of antibiotics, chemotherapy, using microwave, having nitrite in food, or modified starch???
i rather stay natural, organic, healthy, happy, and will continue to be a friend with mms
