This isn't the only drug. Try statins. Talk about dangerous! There are tons of people who have bad reactions to it, but the drug company has convinced doctors, who parrot the company line: "There is no such thing as an allergy to statins." Not only doctors, but also the FDA parrots this (they are, coincidentally, trying to outlaw acetaminophen except by prescription, and trying to stop combination narcotics on which many cancer patients and others depend for pain relief, instead of addressing real issues like this one).

I had an allergy to statins. Allergy to them nearly killed my mother, my uncle, and me. I had to treat Mom myself, with antihistamines and ranitidine (generic Zantac, which works by blocking a different type of histamine than a typical antihistamine does). I watched her like a hawk, hardly daring to leave her side, because when they gave it to her behind my back at the hospital, they refused to take responsibility for addressing her allergy response because "there's no such thing as an allergy to statins."

A friend knows of someone who has collected articles on the number of deaths caused by statins, and the number of severe allergy reactions which were attributed to other medications or to foods to avoid blaming the real culprit - statins. I have realized that as soon as one is published online, copy and paste it - because it WILL be removed. Not one bit of information that there is a statin allergy must be allowed to exist in the medical community, because statins don't cause allergy reactions.

Imagine that - a substance to which no one is truly allergic. If you believe that, you probably play poker with the tooth fairy, Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and the Great Pumpkin. And lose!

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A DRUG TO WHICH NO ONE HAS AN ALLERGY, ONLY SIDE EFFECTS THEY DON'T WANT TO ENDURE. IF THERE ARE NO STATIN ALLERGIES, WHY TELL PEOPLE ON TV ADS THAT THEY NEED TO REPORT CERTAIN PROBLEMS AS THEY MAY BE DANGEROUS? THE MUSCLE PAIN THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT CAUSES A BREAKDOWN OF MUSCLES THAT WILL RUIN YOUR KIDNEYS WHILE IT'S DESTROYING YOUR MUSCLES, AND WILL MAKE YOUR BODY TOO ACID, A CONDITION CALLED METABOLIC ACIDOSIS. I DON'T CALL THAT A SEVERE SIDE EFFECT - I CALL THAT AN ALLERGY, ESPECIALLY SINCE THE CONDITION CAN BE FATAL.
